Part # 944 653 121 00

It is a Temp Sensor and its located in the heat controls section of PET. It came In a new Genuine Porsche box with a lot of stuff I bought on ebay.

Are you wanting a picture or just to know the location? I put your number into dcautomotive.coms site and came up with this picture, it is #35. Don't know if it helps you, but gives you an idea of where it is.

Thanks thats the same picture I have though. I just cannot seem to figure out where on the car its at. The picture isnt very specific.

DC Auto is calling it an Interior Sensor. Im going to try installing this with hopes of it fixing my Heat on all the time problem.

Isn't that the sensor that's in the dash, behind the grille by the clock?

Did you check the heater clips? they attach to metal rods behind the dash and work the doors inside the airbox. They often crack and can cause a full heat condition.

Yes the heater clips were actually broken, I replaced them and still have the problem.

I have a hunch that it could be behind that little round vent thing right next to the cigarette lighter.

I'm about to take that side of my dash apart, I'll dig around and see if I can take a picture.

The cabin temp sensor is behind that vent that your talking about. IIRC you need to twist the vent counter clockwise to remove it. Mine was coated with dust and started working after a good cleaning.

Can someone explain me the best way to take away that sensor to give it a good clean it !!! my problem is full heal all time but weird is mess in with different setting and let it run fans full , seems to make it come back to normal i can hear some kind of click by driver side dash and few minutes bad again!!!

these heat systems are not that complex.

the 2 guys on this thread probably have a vac problem.

make sure that the line from the accumulator (vacuum can by battery) goes to the firewall nipple. Also ensure that the accumulator has a valid vac supply.
you need to verify this physically.
I have had a few obstinate dudes at my house insisting the heat was unstoppable only to watch me fix by switching 2 vac lines in literally 20 seconds.

the line from the firewall nipple goes to the heat valve behind the cam tower (where you can't reach it)

So let's review.
Vacuum lines go:

1. check valve at brakeboost line
2. vacuum accumulator
3. firewall
4. from second firewall nipple to heat valve behind cam tower

You see if the climate control is unable to switch vac to the heat valve, the heat valve always defaults open.
