Gee, my old twin-cam Neon made 150hp with only 2 litres, but it was still a Neon! (great little autocrosser, though)

The Honda s2000 makes its low torque figure at a very high 7500rpm. When I drove one, it was pretty uneventful. Cars with such power bands belong on the track. Similar to the Ruf 930 I got to drive last year, which has an absolute dog before 4k rpm. If you didn't come close to redlining the car before upshifting, if felt like you hit a brick wall while WOT.

The s2000 even compares to the 944 n/a in the first half of the rpm range.
