Jason,

Did you happen to pull the cam tower plugs and double check all the cam tower bolts? If I recall correctly,the factory spec is 15 ft-lbs. It's worth checking, as that may save four to six hours of work. What do you think?

Indeed! I checked all the ones on the leaking side and edge... all set properly. The gasket was failed and protruding from the tower... very obvious problem there!
