hopefully it clears by saturday.
How fitting. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) and 4 (Ebbetts Pass) are both closed down for now due to snow. Hope it gets better before the 4-Pass Sierra Run in 2 weeks.

OH *****. We should have done that run earlier.

I don't mind if it rains seeing as my front tires now have those improved water channels in them...

Not .8v? Can't you just grab a generic sensor from kragen or whatever and splice the wires in?

Keith, I have an E38 too and a couple of O2 sensors you can have (they have 80k miles on them, but they're free).

So what's everyones thoughts on the weather situation? The probability for rain has dropped to 50% from 70% since yesterday. Is everyone still up for a run, rain or shine? I do have my concerns about driving 400 miles in the rain if it's really dumping here in the morning. What's the general opinion? If the weather report doesn't improve later today I think I'll have to pass on this one. For now I'm still in because I think the low pressure system will weaken and not move back as far north as predicted; at least that's the trend.

i wouldnt be up for running in downpour conditions, but i'd be there if there's random sprinkles, i would be allright. as long as it's fairly clear in the calistoga area, we should be fine, IMO.

you'll have to drive slower on the way up to the meet point, though.

how do you guys feel about an SVT Focus joining the group? he's a co-worker of mine and i was discussing other runs in passing. i dont think he'd be out to prove anything, but i want to get your guys' input first before extending an invite.

Let's make an assessment tonight. They've been predicting rain since Wednesday in Santa Rosa and it's been blue sky every day (including right now). I don't want to drive in the rain either, so let's do a go/nogo call at 8 pm tonight on this thread.

That sounds good because I think the forecast will improve during the day. I'll check back at 8:00 or so. Thanks Brad for setting this up.
