I like it. I also like the SUV and have driven a turbo model. Nice power and handled the corners pretty well as well. A little pricey, but still a good automobile. The Panamera will probably turn out the same way. A great car but ridiculed because people hate change.

I feel like if you want a car that big, and you want it to be nice, you should just go ahead and hire a chaffeur. No doubts this is nice and probably a lot more fun than any big mercedes, but I feel like there's a point where wheelbase (and the inherent weight) become inversely proportional to fun.
Only "big" car I could ever drive happily would be the next-to-most recent model M5.

I agree with staying ahead of the curve 100% But does the world realy need another 100k sedan? Porsche roots have always been in racing, and I support that fully, I just think they need to find a way to appeal to the younger generations of P car enthusiests again. My car was originaly a $23,000 car off the showroom, the equiv. of around 30-35k these days just estimating. It would be nice to be able to pick up a car, with a performance level like our cars were back in the day, that you could purchase on an everyday income level, and not the banker or investors income level.
The SUV is nice, good styling lines, decent power output, but again, marketed at those whom can afford a $600-800 car payment each month... just my 2 cents... I don't feel the sedan is neccisary....

Why dont they hire some new designers...
now I see why everyone complains that everything looks like a 911. That picture looks like they just stretched the 911 frame a bit and dropped 2 more doors on..

I don't like it... It may perform well, but still.. I don't like it.
I could understand the Cayenne, as a "sports suv" was still an open and profitable market. But this is just sort of wrong for Porsche. It's not really innovative, it's just stretching the market to make money off of the doctor dad that still has to take the kids to the beachhouse. Yeah our 944's were made for cheap bastards that couldn't afford a 911 but still wanted to brag about buying a Porsche, but they were still sports cars made for zooming around twisty roads.
Just my thoughts, I'm not trying to offend anybody that wants one.

As long as Porsche continues to roll out with cars like the GT2, I don't mind that they're in the sport saloon and SUV market. In fact, aren't the sales from these cars what helps to fuel the R&D of better sports cars? Just my 2 cents.
