Default FS Europroducts 944 S chip

I dont know how much it costs but I will sell it for $75 plus shipping, has never been used or opened. I dont think the company is in business any more.

Aside from disabling the rev limiter, does anyone happen to know what performance benefit this chip offers? I've often wondered by someone like FRWilk hasn't done an S chip; seems I've heard there's not much you can do with the injection and ignition mapping to improve the S's performance.

I have an 87 S and am currently running a performance chip (along with other modifications). I would strongly reccomend the chip. The car just comes alive, not just with power but smoothness. It will idle alot better, and power delivery is strong and very smooth. It will take away a little low end torque (not that the S has any to begin with) but you will notice a strong kick after 4500 rpm; the tach jumps quickly to the redline.
Just make sure you use 93 octane.
