I bought mine from 'regular' store which sells all kinds of rubber parts, seals etc. Cost around 5 euros / meter.

Shouldn't be too hard to find close enough match.

Got mine from DC Automotive (www.dcautomotive.com).
It was only $35 bucks.

sorry to dig up old threads but its better than posting a new one right?

the 35 dollar (#38 and #38a) part from dcautomotive here is the hard seal and rubber that goes over it that attaches to the body, correct?

my question is, how do you attach this to the body? special caulk? anything in particular? mine is coming off in the top passenger side area and i could probably get some adhesive in there and continue using what i already have but i dont know what type of caulk to use. any suggestions? thanks.

Is it coming off due to shrinking? This is common and the typical solution is to cut it at the bottom center to take up the slack. I just did this last week. I need to get an old seal from a scrap yard and cut a tiny bit off to fill the gap now.

As far as a sealant, you can't go wrong with silicone. The stuff that's on there seems like a very sticky caulking though.

Caulk won't solve the problem. Paragon has them for 111.00. If you want **** results, go ahead and buy ****. It's your car. Good luck.
