Default 15x8 Fuchs on 951

I've seen people asking if fuchs will fit a late offset 944/951. Everyone says they don't but they do.

I AM NOT SAYING they fit PROPERLY but they do bolt on. Here are a few pics showing how they look

The tires are these odd 215s.. With the sidewall buldge they are almost as wide as my 285/30s ?? seems weird

In my book, they don't "fit". The only way they are on there is because that is a late offset car and the extra spacing in the rotor hat and hub is what helps the wheels clear the outboard corner edge of the calipers, at the expense of shoving the wheel way far out (and looking like poo-poo). That won't work on an early 951, unless you throw spacers on there, then you have the same situation. I understand what you are saying, but "fit" to most people means fitting under the wheel arches as well as bolting onto the car..............

I changed to late offset arms / tie rods / strut mounts on my 86NA and was able to keep the front 15" Fuchs. Lowered with lots of - camber and they had about .100" clearance at the tops of the fenders.

I see what your saying, makes sense. It's ok now.. I have late offset wheels on it

I wouldn't run my 951 with these..unless I was in a pinch. I just wanted to use the 951 wheels on my n/a while it was down.

The look kinda reminds me of those little trucks with the 13" gold wheels sticking 2" past the fenders lol

I have a pair of 15x8s in the classifieds. I'm getting close to either ebay or letting someone have them for a song...
