Default shop or garage near fullerton, CA??

Hi. Im wondering if there are any shops or garages near fullerton. I am a student attending Cal State Fullerton and live in the dorms, which do not allow me to work on my car when in need of belt tensioning. Also, it would be nice to know where to find local 944 wrenchers just in case my car happens to choke and I am stranded...

I'm in Anaheim, and go to FJC just down the street from you. I'm pretty busy and can't really lend a hand, but I can recommend a local Porsche shop:
Steve's Porsche Repair
120 W Lincoln Ave, Orange, CA 92865
(714) 637-1234

I haven't been there for service, but he's always got 924's and 944's out front for sale. I'm sure he sees a ton of them and is very knowledgeable.

hey thanks a lot. Yeah....i just needed to find some places around here if my 944 happens to break down and cannot finish the repairs on my own.....kinda a last resort thing and in case of emergency.

i must say that Ive seen 2 997Turbos today in Anaheim when I was leaving the 24-hour fitness....they sound insanely sweeeet

Lets meet at the Sonic Burger on Lemon Street, almost any evening is good for me? Maybe some other owners in the area could join?

Have them test and recharge your battery while you're there.

i did that. they tested and recharged the battery free of charge. However, the problem still remains with the belt, since the alternator is not producing anything above a 10 reading on the amp guage

Keep me posted.. I'm up for it depending on when. It's a little drive down there, but worth a couple of beers!
