-For the top nut, I used the "OEM-brand" 02 sensor tool from autozone (~$10). Worked great.
-Drilling the 14mm hole in the bottom of the strut mount was much more trouble than I expected (I didn't have a drill with a big enough chuck).
-Rears will be easy if the bolts aren't siezed like mine were.
-The length measurement listed on the Paragon instructions were wrong - I had to cut ~12mm more off so the strut would insert into the strut mount (there are little tabs on the shock that can not go into the mount). I think the measurement on the little instructions that come with the strut are correct.

Other than that, real easy.

There is no access to the top of the shock anywhere to make it externally adjustable so they had to do it that way.

The fronts are not to bad, folow the instruction on paragons web site. i was a little nervous about cutting my struts up, but they turned out great and I am much happier now that it has been done. I also went with the adjustable ride height kit. Makes a great adition.

I replaced my suspension few months ago with 28 setting adjustible SPAX PSX krypton gas, and it is great. rear shocks have a little bolt on the bottom for adjusting, and adjusting all 4 sides takes some 5 minutes. Great stuff by SPAX imo.

they are allso shorter for 21mm

I allso sandblasted the struits and springs and powdercoated them:

biger versions of the pics:

Just to clarify, you have to take the bump stop out and then compress the shock fully before turning the shaft to adjust it. It is really obvious how much slower the rebound gets when you adjust it. I wish it was as simple as a button

For the fronts, it's really a straightforward job. Make sure you have all your tools before hand like the 14mm drill bit, spring compressor, drain pan, etc.. After you get it done, take it for a drive and then retorque the bottom bolt and the upper nut. If you've been thinking about doing springs, its a good time to do that too.

Hmmm... I didn't compress it all the way to adjust it, but it still seemed to change. I'll double check and mess with it again before my next autox.

The early 944 rear Koni has the buttom adjustment setup, the late 944 setup has to be fully compressed to adjust.

Hmm, all good tips, keep em coming!

The UPS man is coming on friday, and saturday is the tentative date. I'll take a ton of pics so I can put everything back together again! For the 14mm drill, I'll probably use a bench press. It's good to have friends with big tools.

Got them from Paragon, and just the fronts for now, rears to come soon. I didn't buy new springs, I want to see if the stocks have any life left in them. But now I'm wondering if I should have. All I saw were the 1" lowering springs, I have a S2, for $198. Any other recommendations for springs?

Paragon adjustable ride height kit with 200# here and love them. No noticeable understeer and seems to feel a bit better.
