I was at parts heaven yesterday getting some stuff for the car and noticed they had a bolt in rollbar in their showroom for the 944 series cars that was in very good condition with foam around the main hoops for sale for $250. If I hadn't just bought a redline rollbar I would have bought this thing on the spot.

I know I have seen this rollbar in pics before, I just can't think of the name currently. I'll search and see if I can figure out what it is.


Oh yeah, not affiliated with the store, seller, all that stuff. Just letting people know its there.

Oh snap. I think it is a redline rollbar that they have. I may have to go back and pull a lart (buy and re-sell).

I have to go back over there to get (what I hope is my last run of) parts from plating, and the plating place is just a couple of blocks away. That won't happen till friday at the earliest though, so you'll get there first.

Even if you get it, it will not be as cool as my redline. John H himself installed it in my car! I got number 8 of the 2007 limited edition series of 8 painted in black of course.

250 is a steal! When I was at John's shop he half seriously joked about a guaranteed by back at $400.

Wonder if it was a walk-in? I was there right as they closed last night, so it had to have sold today.

I got the rollbar. I went down there right away when I saw billthe3 post about the rollbar. Funny thing is that 2 wks ago when I visit their website (partsheaven) it says their that they have a roll cage for sale out of a 944 track car and I didn't even bother to check it out.When I saw billthe3 post about the bolt in rollbar I called PH rightaway and ask them if it's a autopower or powerhaus roll bar, they said that they don't know who made it and I knew right away that there's a chance it could be a redline rollbar.

Actually I came from fremont and I took my 30 mins. break early so I could get the rollbar. I live 2-3 miles from partsheaven. Thank you billthe3 for posting about the rollbar
