It ripped the B pillars in half, and pulled both of the moving arms on both sides straight out of the mounts.

Excuse my ignorance, but it ripped teh b pillars in half, meaning a part of the top itself, or part of the car's chassis/body?

part of the roof- the b-pillars retract when the roof is down...
