Default 951 custom intake manifold

I have an aluminum tig welded manifold for a 951. It was used on a 951 racecar, then sold to me a while back. Its extremely well made, and weighs litterally nothing. I bought it in anticipation to buying a 951, but ended up getting a NA. Id rather see it go to a good home than me waste it adapting it to my NA. Im looking to get $300 + shipping.

Heres my classified add with pictures: http://mall.rennlist.com/scripts/fea...uery=retrieval

I was told it was made by "Speedwerks", no other info was given. I bought the manifold from Autosport Florida http://www.autosportfl.com/ . Overall, the manifold should increase flow greately, physically it aloows MUCH more air to enter. The manifold equalizes the imbalance between cylinders, and is meant to get the same amount of air to each cylinder, greately inproving efficiency and power.

are these facts? can you prove them? has it been flow tested? if not, how do you know? if so, do you have the data?

i'm not trying to be a pain, i'm genuinely curious. if these statements can be proven with empirical data, i'll buy it. if not, i might even be willing to run the tests myself.

i just want to be sure it's an actual improvement over the stock intake and not just some fluff part.

If you can post some pics that would allow us to see at a glance what you're talking about. eg if it's like the Lindsey ones (short runners)which may increase flow but it moves the powerband way to the right then we can decide if it's what we want to run on our cars.

I do not have physical proof of this, but these results always associate with short runner manifolds. I dont blame you one bit for your curiousity. I too would love to know for sure, but I was not given any info.

As far as I know, it should clear the dipstick. Again I dont have a 951, but it appears to clear.

Comapred to the stock runners, these are much shorter, possibly producing the same powerband results as the Lindsey racing manifold, but I cannot guarantee the powerband is the same. Heres a comparison pic. This manifold allows use of the stock piping.

Really?...
I like ebay because I can find stuff at fair prices..
Personally I get real twisted when I get sniped by somebody and they relist it almost right away for a profit.... Obviously it is fair and legal but it just sucks... Especially if I needed the part but couldn't afford "junkyard" or "Mega Ebay Retailer" prices.

I personally put in my listing that I may end the auction at any time... And I usually end it a minute before the end time just to **** off snipers...
Not that I don't want the extra money... If the price has gotten up to what I consider "fair" then why not let the dude that has come back and bid three or four times have it?

But hey enough thread derailing for me today....
