Is the OE manifold so unbalanced that this manifold will solve the problem or create a new one? Does the flow imbalance make much of a difference on the 2.5L? I saw that manifold for sale originally on eBay and thought 'Wow, a homemade intake". Good Luck
This is very true, with the exception that a bench flow will only show if there are any bottle necks, and will not show you if the harmonics are worth a damn. One saving grace for forced induction is that plenum volume is no AS critical. I would like to see how your power band shifts up in the revs with the shorter runners.

That intake is going to a better home. I was just talking to J.V. Hopefully it will arrive before next thrusday, then i can bring it to my first dyno and test both stock and mystery intake.
The guy who sold this on ebay originally sent me a picture, the inside has full radiused air horns on each runner, I'm excited and hope it flows better then stock.

The problem is that I don't like the fact that the runners have bends in them. And the manifold I have already is ported. I might consider doing a manifold if I can find the right size bent tubing as the size of the 951 runners are a rare size indeed.
this was my plan, but i don't have the cash.

that intake actually killed power on the dyno. not sure how it had been sold as i had thrown it in the scrap pile. it was just a silly experiment that had been done and was not developed any further. Is there anyway to find out who originally sold it on ebay? That must have been 4 years ago now.

Yeah, that listing says it was on a customers car. Was never installed on anything. It may make more power on a non-turbo but the problem was the plenum was made too thin and expanded once it made boost. Funny to watch on the dyno. Oh well, not like you paid 1000.00
