Newbie Saying Hi
Just wanted to say hi to everyone.
Having owned Porsches for some ten years, I just don't know how I got by without Rennlist. Looked over the site for a few weeks and was surprised at how much information was here and how knowledgeable you people are. Needed help on replacing my 944 vac hoses and there it was. Replace my ignition switch on the 911, the answer was there. Sent Jen my two years membership without question, you have saved me the membership fee already!
Anyway, just wondered if there are any Rennlist or other events in South Florida, meets, driver ed, swaps etc. I don't have a track car...yet...but would like to meet with other enthusiasts, maybe pick up some parts or watch the cars do what they are supposed to do on the track.
I currently own a 1999 996 Carrera, a 1986 944na and a 1985 911 turbo. Also have a 2002 325ci BMW as a daily driver. And before anyone says anything, I know, you would never see a BMW and a Porsche in the same driveway in Germany, but hey, this is America! I would guess that hardly anyone outside this community would know the rivalry between Stuttgart and Munich.
Keep up the good work, Gina
