Has this happened to anybody before? I removed all the cheesehead bolts holding the cv to the tranny, but it the axle is like stuck to the tranny. The otherside came off right when i took the last bolt out. I tried hitting it with a hammer and punch but it just wont come loose. Any suggestions?

 

Use a bigger hammer!

big hammer? if i try to pry and pound the axle off Ill be "dismantling" the axle... I have been pulling and punching the darn thing for quite some time.. weird how the other one was begging to come off and this one feels like its welded on there.

 

did you miss a bolt?
