Default A couple quick teaser pics from Nurburg... including a hot 924 GTS.

Here's my first post of many to follow. I just need to get home and get access to Photoshop and Picasa on my computer. My girlie's Vista laptop is lacking the software to do bulk resizing... so MS Paint is my only option.

Saw the 924 CGTS rolling through town so I followed and met these fine Finnish gents at the Pistenhause. They drove the car all the way down. It was in perfect original condition. There was a large group of Finns, and I think they were laughing as I was more interested in the wasserpumpers than the Carerra GT parked right next to it. They had several 951's with them as well. The last pic in the group is a nice S2 I saw on the last morning.

Anyway, I'll post more next weekend when I get home. Right now I need to run and grab a bratwurst and some beers before F1 starts... I'm sitting in my hotel room in Munich awaiting the race start.

Dude, get back here already! Photos look good, I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of them. Looks like you didn't die on the 'ring.

This is annual trip Finns make to the Ring. The rumor has it that quite a lot will go down there in September again.

Thanks guys... I have a ton more... well, over 2000 more photos to be exact. Over 500 alone from my time in Stuttgart. Many many more from my 4 days in Nurburg... it is automotive heaven.

Next time you think Porsche is expensive in the USA, consider this: A base Cayman in the USA is 50K US dollars. The same car in Germany is over 70K Euro... plus over 38% exchange rate to convert to dollars. Yes much of that is tax, but still....
