Bought the same thing as a mityvac from harbor freight for only $17. I just bled the brakes on my car in less then 10 minutes start to finish. .. Never knew it could be this easy!

The mity is much easier than pump bleeding, but the Motive rules

I love harbor freight, creepers for $15, engine stands for $30 and other stuff for cheap. I would never buy any hand tools from them though.

I was just there yesterday and picked up some bearing/gear pullers, hope they work.

I picked up a small air compressor for an awesome price.. bunch of cut off wheels for $3, creeper for $10, bunch, nice tool box, etc . This bleeder (and everything I have bought in the past) has been pretty decent quality.

The item # is 92474 and the barcode is 7||||92363||92474

It says "US GENERAL BRAKE BLEEDER AND VACUUM PUMP" on the box

I bought the gear pullers from there too. They work fine but they put all the pivoting screws on so damn tight, so they wont fall apart during shipping.

I have a harbor-freight about one mile away!! Pick up one of their ball joint press tools if you get a chance. Very handy for ball joints, bushings, etc. Just did ball joints on my Explorer, and did the ball joint rebuild job on the 944. This fit so well, it seemed like it was made for the specific purpose of doing the 944 control arm repair.

The mitivac (or any similar hand-held vacuum pump) is an absolute MUST for older Mercedes with vacuum operated locks and automatic transmissions. Especially diesels, which use vacuum to operate the engine shut-off!

But it is indeed a tool of many uses and a tool every handyman should have.
