Do master cylinder at the same time...it's not that hard. Most difficult thing I came across was getting to the bolts that hold it on next to the brake booster...find a U-joint and you'll be good.

Yeah you want to do both at the same time. They both cost around $70 each new but a shop will charge you $120 a piece, ask me how I know.

They both draw fluid from the brake fluid reservoir, yes.
