procartuning (2:17:22 PM): 3200 seems wayyy low for an s2
procartuning (2:17:38 PM): unless it has over 250k miles
kc8enb (2:15:53 PM): it ran great. i drove it
procartuning (2:18:27 PM): 89 90 or 91?
kc8enb (2:16:30 PM): 91
procartuning (2:18:52 PM): then you have to buy it if nothing is wrong with it.
kc8enb (2:17:06 PM): if i had the cash
procartuning (2:19:18 PM): you could turn it around for 7k at least ... he must not know his stuff and be going by KBB values
kc8enb (2:17:25 PM): if i had the money, it would have been mine by now
procartuning (2:19:47 PM): i would take a loan out to do that.... you can instantly make 4k
kc8enb (2:17:52 PM): i just want it, i wouldnt turn it around

kc8enb (2:19:45 PM): its just sittin my a county road
procartuning (2:22:43 PM): just show your dad rennlist classifieds... and show him what s2's are really going for now.... then use the car as collateral if you dont pay him back.... let him know he could even make 4k off it
kc8enb (2:21:06 PM): like i drove my friends s2000 whe i seen it, that s2 would kick its ***
kc8enb (2:21:52 PM): we will see tomorrow

I once picked up a 89 S2 for $1400(asking price was 2500). PO was told by a mechanic it's clutch was gone, I inspected and found it to be the clutch master.

Other then the master cylinder, a nice wax job and a real good interior cleaning it was a steal of a deal. The PO was desperate for the money.

Sometimes people tell such stories just to mess with you. Another kind of fish story, I guess.

No I know this guy... he has previously owned a 944 and currently owns a honda with a nice... not ricey motor swap.... I would put my money that he is telling the truth.... he lives around Findley OH... so the car has to be on a crountry road around there.

But your right I could be worng and he could be BS'ing me.... although he has no reason to.

I've used SEM many times before and the stuff works great.
