I had the exact same problem. Shop couldn't get it off with torch or freezing it. they just cut a new hole in and a new mount. total cost was under $50.

What I have done is put the car on ramps with the exhaust fully hot, cut the wire and use a box wrench. Keep pressure on the wrench and hammer on the wrench at the far end.

I took mine down to the local muffler shop and they torched it to get it out then put the new one I had in and only charged me $15.

I sprayed mine with blaster and tried heat.
Used a 1 foot wrench... didnt work.
2 foot wrench with heat.... nope.
put 5 foot PVC pipe on the wrench, crouched sideways on the ground, put my feet on the front wheel and the pipe on my shoulder. Then I just stretched out until I heard a pop...

Broke my wrench...

Got a new sensor... and a new exhaust from the headers to the muffler....
needed a new cat anyway...

LOL.

Gotta invest in some good tools! Or get the craftsman from sears they have lifetime warranty I believe. Anyways I was just under taking the starter out to rebuild, and yeah that o2sensor is positioned ontop of the exhaust, i used a vice grip and a long crescent wrench as leverage and got it off. Note: keep an eye on ur o2sensor wire, secure it up higher i guess the po changed the o2sensor.. and yeah.. the connection was severed, melted in half. Good news is I dont need a new sensor.
