Default there's a bird in my car help me set it free!

everytime i push the clutch pedal it squeaks and sounds exactly like a bird chirping (so much so that my friends have exclaimed 'John I swear i hear a bird in your car, open the windows!') i sprayed WD40 all around up there but it won't go away and i'm not sure where its coming from.
can anybody relate here?

Is it the pedal that squeaks or does it squeak for as long as the pedal is depressed? If it is continuous, my money's on the throw out bearing.

My 968 does the same thing. I haven't tried anything to stop it, I just live with it.

My brother says it makes my car sound like a donkey.... When I launch from a stop, you hear "yeeee" as I let out the clutch, then "wOAAAAH" as I accelerate. Therefore my car makes the yeeee AAAAAH donkey sound.

It also may subside a little as it warms up...my 968 does it when it's first started/driven, and yes, most likely the clutch bearing(s).

Two things happen at the clutch pedal that cause squeaking and chirping; the assist spring assembly gets tweaked out of alignment and two, the clutch master cylinder cracks the fire wall and it flexes to the side causing the assist spring assembly to tweak out of alignment.

My clutch operation is very consistent and smooth at all times and temperatures. The noise is definitely coming from under the dash. Socal Driver, I agree about the preload spring, but I hope my firewall is OK!
