Those wheels are forged, as are the ones found on the 924 turbo. For $100 I'd grab them for winter, that's what I use. The 931 wheels are 16X6 though so the 928's are better still.

So, how much are you selling your mint d90's? I am FR's bro, and I know of places you could put the wheels for sale. But I want to see them for myself first to see how much they are actually worth to a VW guy.

Usually, really well kept rims aren't what VW guys go for. They go for curbed, but not bent; scratched to hell rims so they can hand polish them to a mirror shine and use them. Sooo, PM me pics or something dude

If you put d90s on your GTI, I'll have to punch you.

D90s are definitely NOT forged while the manhole covers are from what I understand.

I sold a less than desirable set of 16x6 and 16x8 964 D90's (okay the 16x8 is desirable, thats it) to a VW guy from VWVortex for $400. He drove down and picked them up also. I doubt i would have gotten much more than $250 if i sold them on here or Pelican.

They much prefer POLISHED sewer lids and D90's or Club Sports. They also use the 15 and 16 inch phone dials.

The wheels in the picture are forged wheels. 7x16 et 65 and 8 x 16 et 52.3. I use the same wheels on my 924S race car.
