Default 2 Easy Questions

Hey, just a couple easy questions, first off, what would the value be on a driver and passenger airbag off of a 968? they are not deployed, and the steering wheel with the driver's side airbag. price? and, I have a 86 951 with 140,000 miles. i think i want to get the vitesse racing stage 4 kit, and it requires a 2.8 litre engine. to get that displacement, do i need to bore the cyclinders or get a new crank or both? also, anyone with this setup have any complaints/reccomendations? thanks a lot

I could be wrong, but i don't think there is a huge market for airbags. Most cars that have deployed their airbags are either totaled or out on the track.

You might get 50-100 bucks for the wheel, if it is in good shape.

The typical 951 2.8 liter engine is accomplished via stroking. The cylinder bore remains the same but you'll need new pistons, rods and crank. That's 'spensive!!! Ask Andial951 - he has a car like that.

If the third would have been included, then the title would have been 3, however i thought of it afterwards. Don't waste my time checking this thread if you're going to be an *******.

lol, ESPECIALLY on this board.

From what I've heard people bore out their old cylinders and have them sleeved to fit 2.8L...

As for your O2 sensor, get the thing smogged and if you have high emissions or a high air/fuel ratio then you should replace it.

lol it's cool, my bad, long day. i have a faze a/f gauge and that thing dances all over the place. but it stays on "blue" or rich when i accelerate right before boost, then stays rich, no matter if i'm on it 3/4 throttle or 1/4 throttle, but does that when i hit boost.
