Maybe that's part of the big plan over in Stuttgart...you mix a really low exhaust note and a really high belt whine and they just so happen to meet in the perfect, harmonious BWAAAH that so enriches our lives.

Of course, if you step on it, you'll never notice the belt whine because the intake makes so much noise.
