I put my fiver on it'll blow up at 12:30 PM on 4/28/2007, due to a tossed timing belt.

Its not as bad as people used to make it out to do the belts yourself anymore either. Look around for arnworx they sell the tools to do the job easily for a hundred dollars or so + you get a cool box to put it. I remember a few years back when everyone thought only the dealer could change them. $1500 later

something about a bigger hood scoop and bigger turbo with disreguard for regular engine maintainance just scares me.

cosmetics should always take rear seat.

change belts, check your engine, change your oil and filters, and if you're going to waste all that money to make your car sound better you might as well just drop in a v8.

and slightly OT but speaking of rice rockets, i almost laughed my head awhile back off when the car in front of me (an Acura) pulled up next to a '69 V8 Camaro SS. Of course the guys in the Acura had to show off so they revved the engine a bit, causing their car to emit a rather drawn out farting noise from the muffler.

the driver of the Camaro responded by gently hitting the gas sending out a rumble that made every loose object in my truck rattle.

it was quite amusing

I love this...I was at a light and at the corner next to me a pumped up Prelude was gunning it next to a Vette...C6 guy barely taps the gas and I swear the earth had popped up a volcano or something.

I dont have five bucks to throw away so you wont get me to bite.

maybe if you made it interesting like offered me $55 for my $5 i would consider it.

Nah.

He wants the loudest BOV and loudest exhaust so people hear him before they smell him coming.

He said he would give you five if it lasts at least a month. you put your money on two weeks.

You are an optimist! I dont think a week. I bet he hasnt checked the tire pressure yet. but it sounds and smells good.
