Nice job on the 968 swap!

I'm not crazy about the color, but what would really set it off is a turbo front nose conversion!

what did you do to cover the gaps by the side markers when you removed the bumper pads?

Welcome to the club! And awesome car! We definitely need to organize another norcal/bay area group gtg sometime in the near future since there are so many new people.

I haven't ever filled in the gaps left by the missing bumper pads. The body shop that did the work painted the inside of this area black, so the gap is not very noticeable. The only plan I have been able to come up with for filling this is is to find some black plastic with the same texture as that from the surround on the adjacent lens(perhaps from an old broken taillight), and cut it to fit with a dremmel. It would be easy to attach these pieces with a double stick material (such as spoiler tape). I've hesitated to do this because it would cover the screws that allow for removal of the lens, so access to the lens would require removal of the double stick material every time. If anyone has other ideas on this I'd love to hear them!

I agree that a turbo nose conversion would look good, but I'm not willing to replace the fenders which would be required if I want to use factory pieces. I'll be doing some paintwork on the car fairly soon (I have a turbo valence that needs to be installed ), and I have thought about doing something new with the nose. Any recommendations for the aftermarket noses that are available?

If a bay area event is organized count me in! I just moved down from Portland and this would be a great opportunity to meet other area porschephiles. Newbie question: what's a gtg?

Get ToGether.

As for the corners...Try cutting out the ambers from said broken taillights and shaping them to fit that gap..?

I am honestly not a big fan of the fiberwerks front bumper.

I thought you can use N/A fenders, you just need to trim them ala Rock and his old yellow
