I'm having a bad monday. Everything was fine and all of a sudden the car wont stay on. Me thinks bad Idle Speed Valve but what do I know. Any thoughts. To top it off my turn signals wont work either. I couldn't imagine they'd be related. I checked all the fuses and their good. All the lights work but signals don't work...it stays steady when they should be flashing.

My signals were screwed too. I took out the relay, popped off the cover, then redid all the solder joints. Works perfectly now. You don't have to remove the solder either, just heat it up until it melts, then let it cool again. I'd also recommend popping out all the light units and cleaning all the contacts.

This is effing wierd...its back to normal but WTF was that. It started but wouldn't stay on..meaing I had to keep reving her otherwise it would die. Well I just drove it on the highway from visiting the GF and by the time I got off the highway its back to normal...so WTF could that have been. A clog in the fuel line...filter. Its a new 3bar FPR...it was certainly fuel related. Thoughts.

OK..it went bad on me again and this time it hasnt fixed itself. on both occasions it had done this after hitting full boost at around 6k rpm and at the end of my run about 10 mins same thing happened where she wouldn't want to stay on. An interetsing twist is that on both occacsions my tank was around 1/4 tank and didnt experience problems when the tank was full. Is it possible I'm kicking more junk from the tank when its emptier and something is clogging my fuel pump. Would a bad dampner posses these problems.

just giving this a bump....
I think that a bad dampner would cause the engine to flood from too much fuel pressure? just guessing here.
