Default I just bought this on ebay

An exact replica of mine, minus the eurospec, but still, I have never seen a 944S model, and have extra moeny sitting around, so I bought it. Should I build it? Or leave it in the box unopened to show my kids the car I had when I was 17? lol.

Dude! I had that exact thing(edit: maybe not exact thing, mine came pre-built and was fully metal) when I was like 5 years old, and I think it's subconciously what made me want a real 944 when I was old enough.

My wallet hates that toy/model.

Is that the one that has the wrong engine in it? I posted this a few weeks ago and pointed out that the 944s model had a turbo engine picture on the box.

There's more wrong with it than that!

Look at the wheels, those are deep-dish phones - which means early offset. The "S" was only built in 87 and 88, so they all had late offset equipment.........

The testors models are often in accurate. I have a 911 Carerra model that shows the sump plate on the case (ended with the SCs) Oh well, it's all fun. I have a pile of those I bought planning to build them over the winter and didn't. I have one that's a Targa I'm going to build like my SC and a 944 Turbo that I was going to paint like my 944 n/a track car since I have some paint made up to match the unusual color. That S model would be a better base... if you think of selling it, let me know.

I've been trying to find scale replicas of 944's for a year and I haven't had any success yet.
