Default Value Of 1989 951?

I'm new to this forum and have just had a incredible offer laid on my lap. Any info would be great. Here are the details:

1989 951
guards red black leather
70K miles
9.5/10 inside and out
completely stock
updated radio
911 rims

I have to move fast as I think this guy is about to change his mind again.

Thanks
Ted

Thanks for the quick response. I've checked e-bay but the prices seem to be all over the place.

He's askiing $18K and isn't budging but I'm pretty familiar with the car and it's the cleanest turbo S I've ever seen. The paint practically glows and the interior is like showroom new.

Is he asking too much, I was thinking I could get it cheaper but maybe not if I want one this nice.

Just thinking out loud. Appreciate the info here.

if the car is as pristine as you are saying, 18k is not unreasonable. there probably aren't a lot of '89s left. you might try posting in the 944 turbo forum as that may give you some input from others.

OK - That's what I was thinking. He seemed to be extremelly knowledgable about these cars and I know the car has been babied. He wouldn't even autox it with us when our 2 clubs have meet in the past. I always kidded him that he was going to wax the shine out of it. I just e-mailed him an offer of 17K. I can barely wait, I've been wanting his car ever since I met him 3 years ago.

I'll post back as soon as he e-mails me with his decision.

Thanks Again,
Ted

I paid $20K for mine three years ago, never regretted it.

I just got an e-mail back from him, he's not budging on the price... I think I'm going to go for it! Got to talk to the misses one more time. The deal is in sight! Wish me luck!

It won't let me upload the pics (I've got 3 now). Says something about being a member. I thought I just joined.

You must have certain amount of posts to post pics. I thought it was around 7 posts. Try again.
