yeah that idle is monneeeyyy. Def makes me wanna put a set of cams in my 951, but no, will have to save that for another day...when i have more time and money...
So here's my predicament: I am gonna go w/ a 3" mandrel, but am debating between a flowmaster (60 series? any suggestions?) or an XR-1. Anyone got a clip of a flowmaster on their 951?
Any suggestions in general? My bud's N/A 944 has a flowmaster, and it's really mean, aggressive, and raw sounding. The borla, on the other hand, I'm expecting to sound rich, deep, and pure, but will it still have that MEAN quality I want? I don't want it to sound like just another Vdub w/ an exhaust...

I just finished installing my custom 2.5in pipe from the o2 sensor back, with a Borla Xr-1 race muffler. And now i'm going to go back and install another muffler. Haha there is no way I can drive it on the street without getting pulled over by every cop i see. It sounds really mean, but its just too loud. I can try and take some sound clips next week.

^^^ ...really, too loud you say? Man that sucks, cuz it was #1 on my list of contenders.
What size muffler did you opt for? I wonder how much quieter the longer/wider XR-1's are...?
