Default Replacing Sway Bushing?

One of my sway bushings is shredded, so I'm wanting to replace them. I have the replacement bushings, is it really as simple as getting out the socket set, dropping the bolts, then sliding the new ones on?

Seems too easy for a Porsche. :P

It's a fight - be sure to lube it up with some dish soap and water.

So I've heard, but at least it's nothing crazy like that.

I ditched the rubber ones and went Delrin - MUCH easier to install.

Splitting any slip on bushing makes it much easier.

I'm plan on doing the front sway bushings this spring also. Is it better to leave the car on the ground/ramps or to take the load off with jack stands or a lift?

Daniel - Where did you source the Delrin bushings?

Definitely jack stands. You wouldn't even be able to do it on just ramps/ground.

I jacked it up and took the wheels off. Piece of cake, probably about an hour for me, the noob.

What are you guys talking about? You can do it on ramps just fine. Theres also no need to take off the wheels.

Delrin and be done, damnit! I don't have any PS leaks, but if I did, I still wouldn't sweat my sway bushings.

In Soviet Russia, bushing replaces you.

And yes, it is almost as simple as that, but like sharky said, lube it.

I could make a set for you Steve - if you need a size that doesn't exist.
