rock has a turbo trans he's not using now- sure you could use that- gears may be funky but it would work. He's in NoVa.

henry944 is the gent that purchased my old 85.5 N/A, i dont think he will want a turbo trans..

and jon, i got to thinking, are you sure its the trans? going down the road seems weird time for it to give, how are the CV joints?

im thinking it is the rear end. When i had it on the lift i could spin one tire and the other would not turn. When i spun that tire you could hear it clunk.

a turbo trans would work fine- gearing is alittle taller so autox would suffer but for a dd would be ok.

I have the 5-speed out of my 87. Had 70,000 miles on it and worked great when I replaced it with a limited slip/short 5th gear to go racin'. I'm in the Atlanta area
