I'm In the market for a new steering wheel, wanted to know if anybody had any input on brand preferance/ model (momo, dino, etc). Recommendations on hubs and any precations taken on a wheel replacement. I don't race my car, so I don't need anything to terribly fancy, just somthing thats an upgrade from the orig. I had the MOMO Millenium wheel in mind, I really like the polished/ brushed metal look, anybody have any pics of wheel upgrades on there cars?

Upgrade to an airbag wheel, even though it wont work. I think they look the best of any wheel I've seen on these cars. Every aftermarket wheel just looks out of place, these cars are hard to upgrade without making them look odd. Just my opinion but, I like the looks of the airbag wheel the best.

The euro 968 Club Sport wheel is almost identical to the 930 wheel above, and it's a very popular upgrade for the US 968 owners. I've had it in both my 968's and it's a great change.

I strongly dislike Momo products. Personally I like the 930 one, or one of the Sparco competition line (alcantara rim).

Dan if you're in the area (not on spring break), feel free to stop by and you can see if you like it in person. IIRC it's 320mm, but I could be 10 +/- on the size. Significantly smaller than the school bus stock one.

I have a MOMO and like it for the most part. It is very solid, hard, etc. I would actually prefer SamGrant951's wheel posted above. My MOMO is like a racing kart wheel; just not necessary for the street.

Here are some of mime, for reference. I keep the good ones on the cars.
My preference is the Dino, but plan on a $80 hub verses a $50 Momo hub.
I have average sized hands and find the 930 wheel too thick (trust me my GF says the same thing
).
I also prefer the Momo competition in a 350mm diameter. A 320mm is good fro track work but a tad small for street imho.
