I get the feeling that when all is said and done, after driving any of the three cars highlighted here for say five years, this one will have cost the owner the least amount of money and the least amount of aggrivation.

Another example of how little and uncollectible the 944 series of cars is. Sad but true.

depends on how much you PAY someone else to work on the car - for 2k i could rebuild the whole motor and update a bunch of stuff to boot!

I actually bought my car from the guy that has this car http://atlanta.craigslist.org/car/279337637.html
so I looked at this one too. It is a pretty nice car for the money if you can do your own paint work.

I did not know that. Given that fact, I feel better for having posted it.

If we can have something as retarded as that "G-R Forum" here on Rennlist, we should also have something like an "EBay and Craigslist Finds" forum.

2 things, 1. I live in the same town as the 2nd car (fayetteville) so if anyone needs something checked... 2 the cherry car has a broken timing belt/needs a head . How much does a head cost? anything other than the waterpump/belt that would need changing?

Just because it looks good, doesn't mean it's going to be good, lol.

Cars need to be driven, blah, blah, blah. You all know the drill, I shan't bore you.

Picked up the oher day by yours trully. It was never installed, or at least that's the condition it's in. Might sell it though. The look is not quite what I expected.

Shh... I got my 951 from Craigslist.

1986 951, Black leather interior (no tears, minimal), good paint - back to red with DACP, good body (minus front fender dent, nose panel dent, and rock chips at the lower rocker panels) , Fuch wheels (all the caps) with good dunlap tires, runs, but it leakes power steering fluid for $2,500. T-belt stuffers done by previous owner. It still needs some small stuff like a tune-up, more cleaning, arm rest cover, fluid changes, and etc.

Pre-wax & cleaning pictures:

I think that we really should start a forum or thread like this, especially since it is hard to do a search on craigslist for the entire USA.
I know there are sites that can do it, but the results are like 40 pages long....anyone?

"She's a beaut, Clark!"

Death to anyone who tries to steal this from me.
