most likely bad CV joint
so ive got this sound coming from the back of the car...its a clicking sound..it changes with speed, and only comes about on acceleration and deceleration. i put the car up on jackstands an rotated the left and right rear wheels...it feels like the passenger wheel has SLIGHTLY more play in it so im thinking thats where the problem is.....
so im guessing ill have to buy a new/rebuilt axle with the CV joints...
anyone have a source? should i replace both? how hard is it to do...im not afraid of doing it..i just want to have an idea of the process

From: Central Illinois. Cornfields a plenty.
It gets worse in bad weather (cold) You can repack the CV's and swap sides for a while- this way you have time to research the best parts/ price. I suspect a year or so unless this has been done prior unbeknownst to you.

I didn't mean to offend you and I apologize if I came across that way... there are plenty of folks here to help so if you get into a bind, well, you know where we are! It's all good, so stop with the head against the wall, it's looking painful!
