You certainly finished up the show in style. Anyone that crosses the finish line after having salt water go into the entire car has to be congratulated.

Did I see that the road turned into dirt covered mess were you slid off ? I didn’t hear any brakes so it appeared you really had no chance to control the slid. I guess that is all part of the rally.

Craig...congratulations on finishing the race. It looked like a great time for all the participants even with the Hurricane like conditions on the 3rd day. You have one hell of a "mechanic" to get you back on the road after that incident. I would think the car would be water damaged after that but how in the hell did you do it?

BTW..I TIVO'd the race and for those that could not see it, I am trying to host it on my server...be patient

Haha, I know what you mean. The one time there is a film crew an HPDE, I catch my friends car on fire!
I was pulling some excellent times, and just came a bit hot into the turn. Getting a bit of lockup on left front wheel, which unsettled the car, and considering there was a wall on the inside after the turn which many people hit, I opted to go both feet in, straight off rather then attempt the turn, get loose and spin it into the wall. It was a normal off, but as we sat in the brush, the exhaust lite up the brush and the car was quickly engulfed. Thank god it spread away quickly. I covered all damage cause since I was driving a friends car.
