Default wheel experts help...offset question

hi all...
i am bummed out
after owning and driving my 996 for 4 years ...i discovered today that my 18' sport design wheels are wrong(obvoiusly bought the car used)
fronts are 18x 7.5 et 50
rears are 18 x 9 et 52
These are friggin' boxster wheels I thought all sport designs were the same for boxsters and 996's....
Will these fit right on my 951????
Thanks...

they should.. dependent on tire size they may rub tho. arent they like 55 and 62 mm offset?
oops--reread. 50 and 52 mm offset.

Johnny- I'd love to see those wheels on the 951!

There's nothing wrong with those wheels on a 996, in fact, they have 996 part numbers.

I bought a 993 C4 a month ago with the same exact wheels, they fit, and work fine. I think they'll fit fine on a late-offset 944 also.

i believe if they are the 10's they will fit fine- may need a slip on spacer. Depends on the offsets-inside of the wheels- or just try them out! What you couldnt take me getting some 18's!!!

course the fronts may not clear the hubs w/o some spacers.

The 996 Sport Designs are 7.5 et 50mm front (same as the boxster), and 10 et 65mm rear (1" wider than the boxster version).

The 9" rears will fit fine on the 951 (as do the 10s). The 7.5 fronts will have the hub clearance issue (as do most 996/Boxster wheel for 944 applications) - so you need to run a thin spacer (approx 1/4") for the bore in the wheel to clear the dust cover on the hub.

My set (fronts 18x 7.5 et 50, and rears 18 x 9 et 52), with tires, will be for sale in about a week, after I take detailed photos.......I'm downsizing my C4 to 17's for the street.

Sport Designs look great on 944 series cars. I usually don't care for the later model Porsche wheels on our 80's looking cars, but the Sport Designs look just right.

No worries - I was just trying those on for looks. This is what my car currently looks like. I've been thinking about getting the wheels powdercoated in white....

Default Lighter or Darker?

Really like the C2 Turbo Wheels. Happy with my Cups, but the Turbos look more agressive.

Will the 9" et52 (boxster rears) fit on the front of a late 944? if not how much do they need . I have 3 wheels for a track car ...
