Canadians are the short bus people of the world. Unable to defend ourselves we look to our smarter brothers and sisters to look after us. We invented hockey in order to ensure an adequate supply of hocky helmets.

Just a follow up: Most of you should be receiving or have already received your bushings. I'm waiting on a couple payments, and then I'll take stock of what's left. If anyone does not receive their bushing set by this Friday, please let me know. I'm fairly certain that I got everyone, and even managed to count right.
Regarding the bearings, I made a call to ACME over a week ago, and have not received a response, yet. I really don't have much motivation to follow up on it, so I'm going to leave the bearing buy to someone else.
Regarding fitment, the bushings are pretty snug on the driveshaft. If there's a lot of corrosion on the shaft, I'd recommend knocking it down with sandpaper, and possibly opening the bushings up slightly for clearance. I do have a decent number of spares if anyone runs into any serious issues.

I know I'm resurrecting the dead here but I found some C4 6006ZZ bearings locally with the DuPont Krytox XHT high temp grease(up to 750 deg. F). These are left over inventory and there are 9 left. I'm buying 4 of them and wondered if anyone else wanted the remaining set? These go with Jon's delrin bushings. They aren't cheap at $19/ea. but finding a C4 in hi-temp is next to impossible. If a C3 250 deg. bearing is adequate then there is no reason trying to get closer to the OE C5 Hi-temp installed at the factory.

They are for rebuilding the torque tube using Jon Moeller's Delrin bushings he sold here about a month ago. The OE bearings had a hard rubber bearing carrier/spacer that can get soft at higher-temps causing the center bearings to oscillate/vibrate as they softened. These should be rock solid and last the rest of my life I figure! Finding the C4 w/ high-temp grease was the issue. Finding an OE C5 isn't even an option anymore, it was a Porsche only thing I guess.

The bearings by size are still readily available from the usual bearing sources. It's trying to match the original C5 (clearance) spec and Hi-Temp grease. Most bearings in this size out there today are C3 w/ normal grease. They might work fine, I don't know. I live in a hot climate and do not want to do this again. Getting the bearings is the easy part, finding the spacer between the bearing and TT housing is what's tough. Jon did a great job in having some Delrin bushings made that will outlive all of us. He posted he had some left, personally I would jump on those unless Sharkey plans on making some himself in the future. I have a feeling that there are many cars out there at about +150K miles that have a mild to serious shudder under boost at a selective RPM range because it's easy to see how the old rubber carrier would be compromised under high heat conditions. I have to give Porsche credit, they really put some thought and engineering into these cars. I feel lucky I found these bearings but I've been looking for over a month.
Here's the standard size C3 offering:
