Bushings are shipping from the machine shop, today. Evidently they ended up with 19 extra bushings, so I have a few more sets for sale, in addition to my spares that are now up for sale.

I'm going to try to get them all shipped on Tuesday, as Monday night will be a fun evening of packing and labelling.

Regarding the bearings, I do have a call in, and the bearing shop is looking into the price for 100 bearings with specs of 6006ZZ C5 with high temp grease.

I'll keep everyone posted on what I hear. Please be forewarned that these are likely to be on the expensive side, and I won't be doing a buy unless I get 25 people to commit.

Thanks,
Jon

Jon,
Just caught this thread and would like to purchase a set of these bearings if they fit a 968. I read all the posts and checked out the listed vehicles but did not see any 968's. Thank you in advance for responding the 968 question...and again, if they do fit....and you still have some to sell...count me in.
Thanks,
Craig

Please put me down for a full set, and let me know what the payment deal is.

Box with bushings arrived, today. I did a test fit, and they seem to be perfect. They take some coercing to go on, once mounted in the bearing, but I believe it's the fit we want.

I'm going to try to ship everything by Wednesday, but please be patient. Trying to combine this with parting out my car has created a nice amount of chaos.

Any word on the bearings GB or should those of us on the list just go ahead and order them from another source? I know you are getting out of the 951 world for awhile and the bearings probably just add another unnecessary level of frustration at this point. Either way is fine with me.

Steve,
I'm sorry for not replying to your earlier e-mail, as you can imagine, I've been pretty busy. Regarding the bearings, I do have a phonecall in to one of the guys at ACME, they're looking into a run. If I don't hear from them in a week or so, I'd say that you guys should make your own arrangements.

There are a few sets still available. I'm going to get the existing orders packaged and shipped, first, as I want to do a physical count of the remaining sets.

Jon, thanks for the update on the bearings. I'll wait and see what you hear from your contact.

Almost all bushings are shipping, today, with the exception of a couple people who I still need to wrap parts for, and anyone whose package requires a trip to the Post Office (damn Canadians).

The least you can do Jon is to get it right, it's "Damn Canadian Vultures"

Seriously, sorry about the hassle but it is definitely appreciated!

Bah, shipping to Canada is no big deal. I'm just glad you guys are making good use of the parts. I'd think you'll see everything late next week.

Hey Jon,

Thanks for your efforts here. Just for that us Canadians will keep selling you Yanks oil and fighting with you over water. Do remember the only time the US got into a shooting war with us, they lost. (I think we actually bored them to death but.....) Anyway, thanks again, Jon, for putting this together.

Lanny
