from what i hear these wheels do not fit well onto late offset cars- they stick out alittle...w/ the early offset i have more room for adjustment. If you come down for a gtg sometime we can try them out though.

Yeah I've already got rubbing issues, and according to my calculations they would stick out even further. I really don't think Kevin had 996 hollow spokes, I'm pretty sure his were 993 hollows. Anyway I wouldn't mind bolting them on to see how they would look even if we can't put all it's weight on them.

No black! Leave them how they are. They need to be bolted up to a late offset cabriolet anyway.

Do 18" wheels vs. 17" wheels really make a difference on handling? I'm thinking about getting some 17" (I've got 16's now) in hopes of being able to put more rubber on the pavement.

17's are awsome- especially if they are light. 18's ride like *** but look good- thats what these are for- my last set of 18's-sport classics- had 225/265's on them and handled great as well but the ride went down hill. Ive yet to drive this as the rear tires are too close but im sure itll be very rough w/ my new springs + less tire

Actually a dub just means 20. Originated as a drug amount. Dub = $20 worth of substance.

Get with it Ohio.
