i've seen a bunch of 928's that way, even a 928s4...what a waste... sure you can do it, but just do it to a n/a, leave the turbos alone! lol nah i'm being to harsh, to each their own, but you'd never catch me driving one!

I understand what your saying get a sports car if you want to go fast but this is a sports car just made into a truck it would be just as fast as a normal n/a.

hey maybe it would be as fast but probably not by the time you add in the extra weight required for teh conversion and also there are station wagon 944 conversions in yerope and i have seen 928 truck conversions over there as well ok bye.

It will also have more wind resistance and be less stable at high speeds

Maybe not. It takes next to no effort to make a diesel pickup fast. Not all-around fast, but 11 sec 1/4 mile fast.

I dunno, If its the right kind of truck and done properly it can be quite fast... It will never have good handling though...

This is my old truck

i heard somewhere that Norwegians did stuff like this because they loved the cars so much, and the Norwegian government had an uber-high tax on sports cars, so they made them into pickups

I have no sources on this however

My dad and I took a really hopped up 350 vette engine many years ago and dropped it into a beat up old 1975 farm truck for humor. It was a temporary thing. But you should have seen the look on this BMW' drivers face when that truck squatted on the back axles and left him at the light lol! Trucks have a good strong frame and drivetrain, but are worthless in corners or speeds above 65.
