Default Looking to purchase me one

Anybody know of any 944s for sale for around 3000. I looked at one today it was a little disappointing. I live in the SF bay area. Prefer the later ones but mechanics over pretty. Thanks much

^ That one apparently has some bad rod bearings, so that'd probably bounce it from above the 3k range to way out of the 3k range.

Can the rod bearing be changed with the engine in the car on these?

Yes they can, though it requires supporting the engine from above (not hard). You need to remove the control arms and drop the cross member.
