Everything is good...
Most of the posts here are for cars with problems.
My 944 NA is running strong and I've yet to put a wrench (other than oil changes) on it in the past year / 8,000 miles.
Let's hear some drive her hard, put her away wet, and she is is ready to be driven hard the next day, stories.

I too have an '86 NA that I recently purchased. I did some preventative maintenance (quite a bit actually - an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, right?) and everything on this car works as I would have thought it probably did when it was new. I have no problems whenever I pull it out for a drive, and thoroughly enjoy it. I plan to do routine maintenance and don't anticipate problems.

I've had my '86 for around 13 years and 120k miles (its at 183k now), Its been my daily driver for around 10 years and apart from a water pump failing at 130k, its been the most reliable car I've ever owned, and it still puts a smile on my face when I drive it. Its been relegated to half-time daily driver since I got the '88.
