Default 968 Caster Blocks on early A-arms?

Does anyone know if the 968 caster blocks can be used on early cars with steel A-arms? (without mods)

968 castor blocks are an engineering weak point of the model. You want to replace with the 951 m030 ones. Contact RS Barn for additiional info and performance parts and Q's. Good luck.

Nope, won't work. Mounting is different.

Thanks guys. I suspect the 951 M030 blocks won't fit either. I'm not going to change to aluminum arms, just thought I'd put better blocks on when they need replacement.

I have red weltmeister caster blocks on my 944 race car with steel arms. They have taken all the abuse I have given them over 4 years of racing.

Apparently they were too good - it looks like Paragon no longer sells them....

I'm interested too. I had the impression that 968 caster blocks were a nice upgrade for 944s. Not race parts, but definitely tighter than the stock 944 units. I have not heard about any reliablity issues, but that does not mean that there aren't any...
