I'm jealous, your car came with the uber-rare caliper delete option (#4987-2b). That's gotta save a couple of pounds.

Actually, it was an upgrade... I was looking at Turbo brakes and then found I could snag a set of the "air" brakes for only a little more $$

Seemed like a good idea at the time, and anything that reduces unsprung weight must be good, right?

Oh, and bleeding the brakes is a snap now!!

Thanks Rick, Unfortunately I'm still mired in move-in tasks like garage floor painting etc...

jgporsche, in your first post, are those on a car that you own? im not one for painted wheels, but that is sexy.

do 944s and 924Ss of the same year have the same offset? if so that means they can both use the same wheels right?

These are 2001 Boxster 17" rims and tires. They bolt right on to 87-89 944s without spacers. Width is 7" in front and 8.5" in the back. I think they look like they were styled to be reminiscent of Fuchs rims.

Call my crazy, but I'd like to see some 17" DEEP dish Phone Dials.

Yeah, that's crazy.
