Nope, not the original color, bought it from a lady who had the whole car repainted. jams, engine compartment, EVERYTHING. Looks pretty sick in person!! Never been a huge fan of GOLD but with the wheels and the quality of the paint job, I'll take it! Well, I also bought it from her for less than she paid for the paint job. I should say that I stole it from her, more accurate!!

Call my crazy, but I'd like to see some 17" DEEP dish Phone Dials.
i've always thought the very same thing! i love phone dials, but they need to be wider and larger. someone needs to make a light weight replica in plus sizes for the late offset phonies!

Darwin - those are going to look sweet!! Do you plan on fixing up the lip? Looks like either someone did not know how to parallel park, or someone did not take their wheels to a careful tire changer! Regardless, I love those wheels, can't wait to see the finished product.

Kevin - the white fuchs on a white 944 look awesome... take some more pics!

Thanks! They're a little rough, but I'm going to have them refinished in Matte black. What size are yours? This is a set of 18s, which apparently are SUPER rare...

Here's the look I'm trying to achieve (well...not yellow...)

That's going to look really good! Post up pics when they're done. They are definitely worth restoring. Mine are 18's. Not too fond of the 17" version.

Definitely! I'm rather excited to get them done! BTW, my father is going to test fit the fronts, but maybe you have my answer. Will an 8.5" front with ET61 fit a late offset car? I will be switching to probably a Moton set-up with 2.25" springs so that should help things out a tiny bit, but I was wondering about rubbing while cornering.

Elliot, just noticed this post! Yep, I will be getting them refinished. Probably in Matte black. See the photo I posted above of the yellow 911. That will be my end goal. I was even thinking of painting the calipers red to add a little contrast.

My new theme for the car is anti-bling...

And it looks like curbage...oh well tho, I will be getting them back into a presentable shape and I definitely take care of my stuff!
