Default FS: Autopower Rollbar S2-AGAIN!

The "committed Rennlister" crapped out so the bar is for sale again. Let me know if interested.

Thanks.

Jeff

no idea but my guess would be yes. There aren't any anchor points above the roofline. I'll take a measurement from the rear deck to the top of the bar to see if it will clear the top.

If any knows for sure, I'm sure they will post. Other than that, you may want to contact Autopower.

Jeff,

I am pretty sure that there is a specific cabriolet roll bar. I have one laying around, so post pictures of yours and I can let you know if they're different. How much is it and good luck with the sale!

Why would it not fit a regular 944 or 951? Is the S2 body really that different?

The bar would work in any model coupe 944/951. I am pretty sure it will not work in a cab because of the roof line. I saw the bar last night while looking at Jeff's new race car, it is in very good condition.

This might help. Don't know if you can see in the photos but there are some marks and scratches. Nothing that you wouldn't expect.

Do you have the mounting hardware for it?

What you want for it? I imagine shipping will be ridiculous though.

I do have the mounting hardware. That consists of two backing plates, 14 bolts and nuts.

The two tail pieces of the bar detach for easier shipping. I will look into what the cost might be. What is the zip code for "Protected from middle America by an impregnable wall of traffic, deserts and freeways in disrepair. . . "
