Default What is my 89 2.7 worth?

The wheels they are a spinnin. I guess after having two S2s and a tweaked 951 I don't know if I want to put any effort into my NA. I am toying with the idea of selling the 951 and NA and getting one car that can be a DD and DE. I sold the GTO a year before the lease end so things changed.

I have an 89 NA 2.7 with 77k miles. All original paint and VIN decals.

Lots of service records.

NEW as in within the last 4k miles:
Brakes, Rotors, Clutch/PP/etc., Motor Mounts, Cap, Rotor, Belts, Rollers, Battery, Air filter, Plugs, and some other stuff I am forgetting. Add all that up, what do you come up with in $$ put into the car? edit, forgot rennbay ball joints.

The good: interior clean no rips tears etc. Body straight, just a few small dings. Overall a solid 8.5-9/10 body wise. Momo steering wheel, shift **** (in box) and leather shift boot. It also has the uber rare ultra valuable 2.7 head!

The bad: hatch delaminating (will have a different hatch real soon), water leak being tracked down, may be fixed by now. Clear coat looks like a car wash brush went against it. From five feet away it is beautiful. It is common on the linen cars, and may come out with a polishing - I don’t have time to try. Needs tires since I am not parting with my 968 rims! Shocks are typical Boge/Sachs. Crappy coverlay dash cap installation.

Everything works. The car has ABS and the uber rare split rear seat. Spare tire never touched the ground, Air Pump, Tool Kit and the other little doo dads like the gloves etc. Not sure about sunroof bag in blue.

$5-$7.5K in Canada....that's about 125,000 kms...pretty low.

Tom, you are just never happy with cars are you? Thinking of sticking with Porsche for the DD / DE car or doing something else? How about a Boxster S, they would be a solid DD and DE car, but if you need the back seat..how about a 993 or 996 Carrera if you can squeeze it into the budget?

Find the right person and i think you could get $6000 for the '89. But it make take a while to find someone.

Hold onto the 951 as long as possible.. i want to buy it!!

Hey Tom -

So what do you have now? No GTO, one 951, and the 89 NA? Your brother has your S2? So confusing!

Why not keep the Turbo, and sell the 89? I never saw photos of the 951--got any?

Ps--I'm selling my '01 Taurus...great DD for you!
