BTW: Russell Berry if you see this I still have the early DME but it is confirmed to be dead. Sorry it took soo long to get an answer on it but I kept on forgetting. PM me and we can work out dropping it off

If you wanna see if its toast, swap the AFM and DME out of a later car and if it starts, DME is roast beef.

I dont get why 944 DMEs are sooo expensive. Man I really wish I didn't give my good one to my friend. He told me he'd buy a replacement then when he sees how much $$ they are CYA.

KLRs aren't cheap either, and they do fail often.
